Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly named Jeffrey Morneau one of the 2022 Lawyers of the Year. In the article released on February 13, 2023 by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, Kris Olson writes about the Springfield Courthouse case that settled last May.
Mangini, Kenefick, and Morneau worked together to sue the Trial Court administration for the mold infestation that resulted in unsafe working conditions for Trial Court employees. The settlement agreement states that the Trial Court must make monthly status updates on the anticipated start date and project progression. Regarding the level of trust for the Springfield legal community with the Trial Court prior to this case, Jeff explains that “Just like any relationship, if there’s no truthful and accurate communication, there’s no way to build back that trust.”
