Chelsea K. Choi
Bio
Chelsea K. Choi is an attorney at Connor & Morneau, LLP, where she represents individuals and employers on a variety of workplace matters including hiring, evaluation, discipline, layoff, and termination of the employment relationship.
Chelsea’s practice includes employment litigation where she represents individuals in a wide range of disputes including those involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, and breach of contract claims. Chelsea has also represented employers in state and federal court as well as agency matters before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities, and various Departments of Labor.
Prior to joining Connor & Morneau, LLP, Chelsea was an associate attorney at prominent law firms in Hartford, CT. While in law school, she served as a Note Editor of the Western New England Law Review at Western New England University School of Law. Chelsea received her B.A., cum laude, from Syracuse University, where she was a team member and co-captain of the Syracuse University Cheerleading Program.
Outside of the firm, Chelsea has served as a volunteer since 2019 for Read to a Child, a national literacy and mentoring non-profit organization that fosters a love of reading, improves literacy skills, and empowers underserved children by inspiring adults to read aloud to them regularly. Since 2016, Chelsea has also been a volunteer for Discovering Justice, bringing civic education programs to students across Massachusetts. Discovering Justice’s Mock Trial and Mock Appeal Programs pair middle school students with legal professionals to explore the judicial system, analyze a legal case, and practice the civic skills needed to persuasively argue cases. Chelsea is also a Board Member of the Hampden County Bar Association and Western New England Law School Law Alumni Association.
